Summary

NCAA Football 2005 is another great collage football game from a long line of great collage football games. All of the fun stuff from the last few games is still here to make a quality football game. A couple of new features have been added this time around. The first is Home Field Advantage. This is when the crowd comes into play. If you are on defense at a home game, you press the White button to make one of your players wave his arms in the air to make the crowd go louder. This makes it hade for the offense to audible and the camera will shake and your controller sould rumble. The other addition is the addition of a "big hit" button. It's like the hit stick from Madden NFL 2005. If you press the White button, you can hit a player harder than a regular tackle. Other than that, that's about all of the new things added.

The graphics may look the same, but they are still good. The players look nice, the helmets shine and the ball...THE BALL'S AMAZING! The sound is the same as well. The commentary is nice, the tackles are good and those fight songs are good.

If you love collage football, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

All in all a great game for the fan of the classic football games of the older consoles.

Summary

Madden 2005 for GBA was the first football game I bought since I had my Sega Genesis, and though the graphics may not have changed much, neither has the enjoyment of a solid football game. I've found gameplay to be simple and solid, as it should be. The calling of plays and setting up options is straightforward, and the execution of the plays works just as well. Even though I was always one who would turn the view to a horizontal field on the old games, it looks like that's a thing of the past and the vertical view is here to stay. That still works suprisingly well on the GBA's small screen, and even though there's not a lot of detail, there's enough clear visibility to make the game play well. I had planned on trading in my GBA version of this game for the DS one when it came out, but after all I've read and heard of that version, I'm happy to stick with this one until perhaps Madden 2006 comes to the DS. All in all, a game worth buying for the fan of the classic simple football games of our Genesis and SNES youths.

Trust me! I never before knew the difference between Rugby and American Football. But this game clears it all.

Summary

I am not a big fan of Rugby. But I sometimes watch it whenever I get a chance to watch it.Before I bought this game,I by chance watched American Football once or twice.I bought Madden 2005 thinking it as a Rugby game. But was startled when I saw that there was no Australia,no England,no New Zealand.I could only see some alien names.I never knew the rules of this game.At one stage I was tensed if I had bought a wrong game. But I still decided to continue with this game.
And I am very proud of thi decision. It's Great to have this game.Believe me,I have never played this game on PC or PS2 or XBox or GCN.So I do not know how's this game compared to others. But I bet it will be a great buy for you.I do not mind anything about the roster since I don't know anything about any player. So I don't mind if I didn't buy Madden NFL 2006.
My final verdict about this game is that it will keep you engrossed for your leisure time.Buy it!!!

Summary

Madden 2005 is easily the best football game ever made, with that said its easy to see why i still play it today and i don't play newer football games (such as Madden 06) . Every single thing about madden 2005 is perfect or is nearly perfect. The graphics are amazing and are still very comparable to Madden 06. The game has a great soundtrack, and everything sounds good except John Madden himself (will someone just shut him up please)
This game is a freakin blast to play with friends and can consume hours and hours of time with multiplayer alone. Worth a purchase even though there are newer Football games available.
