This game may look like its for a kid, but you should never judge a book by its cover, in this case a game!

Summary

At first glance I thought this game was gonna be complete crap. My friend had to make me try it, well I decided to try it so she would leave me alone and I was surprised beyond words! I loved it so much I ran out to buy it the same day (today). Your helping the Zubo's save their world from the zombo's.

Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome! It sucks you in, you will never wanna put it down! Your main control is the touch screen. I honestly dont think the game could have been better as far as controls. If you liked Elite Beat Agents then you will love this!

Graphics: The graphics look great! Its bright and detailed. I love the art style!

Replay value: This game will never get old, its one of those kinds of games you can always go back and play again!

As I said before if you liked Elite Beat Agents you will love this!

Zubo is a very fun game! One of the best games for DS!

Summary

Zubo is a very fun game and if you like fun fights + a little adventure - this is the game for you! The review from Gamespot is quite accurate, so I won't go over the same again. But in 2 ways I disagree very much with the Gamespot review: there's lots of story or I will put in this way: enough story. Maybe not as much story as you would expect from an adventure game, but the adventure part is just a way to get the story going and get to the next fight or meet a new fighter to get on your team. "Quirky objectives" - not if you ask me! What this game is about is the fighting and getting your fighters even better with stronger attacks. You won't get a more fun fighting game for the DS as this. The attacks is maybe the most funny I have ever seen in a computer game. LOL! The multiplayer fights (playing against friends) also work very well. The only flaw as I see it, is getting around which you can, but that could have been done much smoother. Hurry and get this game - it won't disappoint you and you will have lots of fun (..or you have no humour at all!). Almost perfect and one of the best DS games yet!

If only it gave you the same thrill that Pokemon or Dragon Quest does...

Summary

Gameplay
Basically you play as someone who has to stop someone who wants to put everyone to sleep. ***Where's the fun in that? All we have to do is beat someone and then the game ends. WASTE OF MONEY! With Pokemon and DQ you not only do that, you battle online for endless fun.

Battle
Tap the Zubo when the orange outline goes into him. ***Orange is probably the WORST colour because it blends into EVERYTHING easily. Plus, this is unrealistic. YOU CANT GO UP TO SOMEONE WHEN ABOUT TO SLAP THE ENEMY AND POKE THEM! *poke* *poke* !Bang! He'd miss the target and accidently slap you.

Controlls
As DS touchscreen. Proves that Nintendo are making all bad choices.

Map
Shows the WORLD MAP. How about the map for where your in. THATS WHY THE DS HAS two SCREENS.

Battle Moves
Juggling Fart, Paticake, WHAT ARE THEY? THIS IS A KIDS GAME FOR GOODNESS SAKE!

Don't Buy the game. It's not for kids. Or Adults.

Great fun to play but....

Great

Summary

This game is great for primary school children, but not so good for teenagers. The story is that you come to a planet where 'Zubos' live but there planet is being taken over by 'Zumbos' (baddies) and you have to help to save the planet for the 'Zubos'. You do this by fighting the 'Zumbos'. You chose a move and to shapes appear (an inner circle and a outer circle and the outer one gets smaller) and when the outer circle is on top of the inner one you hit it. You make friends with 'Zubos' and they send you on missions.

The good: It is fun to play and very addictive.

The bad: The graphics are awful.

Summary

In the past 10 years, there have been so many Pokemon clones and rip-offs like Spectrobes, Digimon... it's no wonder Psyduck's got a headache. But is Zubo different enough to give the genre a kick up the backside? Almost. So, you're a generic child in a LEGO-esque world. There's some evil Heads to be defeated and you need some help in taking 'em down. Enter the Zubos. These characters are small, cute but not exactly cuddly. These little guys can use these Final-Smash type moves with obliterate your opponent in a flurry of fireworks. So, what else is new? Well, moves get gradually more powerful, and to be able to use these, you must save up power pills to use them. There's also more move types ripped out of the Pokemon book on top of these. There is also a rhythm action mechanic during battles that directly affects the pain dished out. So do I recommend it? Yes, although as it is cut short very quickly and there are only 50 Zubos to catch, ideally you should be paying no more then a tenner. Fingers crossed for a sequel.
