Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet [X360]

I finally found a good building game, sadly it lacked multiplayer.

Summary

Little Big Planet is a fun game where you can express your imagination and share it with others, but it just lacks multiplayer so you can't fight each other or build together.

The single player is fun, but short and the graphics are quite good compared to other PSP games. The customization is ok, but could need some more items and cheaper costume packs.

The most fun part about this game is making your own obstacle courses (For example, I made a mario level and a jungle obstacle course and I enjoy playing a mirrors edge obstacle course and trying to get best time in a online leaderboard) I also sometimes make racing tracks for fun, but there is only one car and I don't have the Turbo! add-on.

This game is not worth 30 $ or higher, but if you find it under that price and don't have anything else on your game shopping list, I reccomend getting it.

Summary

Little Big Planet for the psp is a great game with great creation tools i haven't played the ps3 version but i can say this psp Little Big Planet is a great Portable platformer while i have heard the ps3 version may have more features and stuff like that this is still a great game.

Graphics are really good for the psp the level design of all the levels is great the backgrounds look also really good obviously it doesn't look as good as the ps3 version but its still one of the best looking psp game's when it came out.

Gameplay is very good but there is some annoying parts to the game play like the game controls good and plays good but sackboy is floaty and sometimes doesn't always to what you want but there aren't many parts at all in the entire game that are annoying and plays great the story mode is super short you can complete the every story level in about 3 hours maybe a bit longer if you got all the prize bubbles sticker's and items but that will only take a couple of hours maybe even an extra hour not much but the game may not be long but all the levels are designed well and are all really good there easy some of the levels maybe abit more difficult but mainly all easy but again all the levels are really well designed and really good the creation tools of the game are really good and there are loads of different types of objects to make you can place different music in different place's you can make everything thing in the level background or you can just use the backgrounds that are already on the game overall the game plays great with great creation tools just with some annoyances.

Story well there isn't much of a story its about getting all the creators to the carnival each area has a new creator that you have to get to the carnival there isn't much of a story but there is one.

Replay if you got the internet on your psp there is loads of replay but if not there is some just not as much as if you had wireless internet because you can download levels of the internet to play they do take awhile to download and when you want to upload one of your own levels it takes awhile but if you dont there is still the story mode getting a hundred percent on each level and you can still make your own levels overall there is replay if you haven't got internet there still is some but if you have there is loads.

The Good

Great Graphics/Great Level Design/Loads of Replay/Game plays Great/Loads of Content if you have the Internet/Great Creation tools/Good Sound.

The Bad

takes awhile to download stuff/some game play annoyances/not much replay if you haven't got the internet.

Graphics 8.5/10.0

Gameplay 8.0/10.0

Sound 8.0/10.0

Replay 7.5/10.0

Value 7.5/10.0

Overall 7.8/10.0 B+ Good

Summary

With LittleBigPlanet being one of the bestselling games for the Playstation 3, LittleBigPlanet's Play, Share and Create made its way to the PSP. Released both for the UMD version and also available to download for PSP Go owners.

The plot for the PSP version takes place just after the first LittleBigPlanet where your Sack character decides to go on Holiday. Where you will be guiding your Sackboy or Sackgirl around various places around the world like Australia, China and LA; unlike the first or second LittleBigPlanet games where you had to save the day, players can just actually chill back and relax.

Gameplay: Anyone new to the series will know that LittleBigPlanet is a 2D puzzle platformer, if you have played 2D platformer games in the past on various consoles. You'll be guiding your Sack character through each level as you progress your way through around the world. As you go through each level you'll collecting prize bubbles which will have a tool item which you can use to make your own levels in LittleBigPlanet.

Not only that you can also pick up stickers which can be used to place anywhere in the game, some puzzles will require you to place a sticker on something to activate a switch to move on. During the first level in each area you play through you'll also get costumes to dress up your sack character. There isn't really much else to say about its gameplay you're using the analog stick to move, and the directional pad to control your sack character's emotions from happy, angry, sad and worried.

Anyone who has played LittleBigPlanet if you pass a checkpoint and you die you ends back from the checkpoint, but instead of having 4 chances through each check point. The PSP version takes away 100 points away from you instead which makes it less-frustrating for players when it comes to certain parts of levels that became tricky to get passed. Downside to the PSP version is that there is no online multiplayer you can play up to 4 players online, you won't be able to do that in the PSP version.

Graphics and Sound: For a game that looked really good on the Playstation 3, the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet does a good job on its graphics, visuals and animations making it feel more like a Playstation 2 game but being ported from the PS3 version. Most of the levels in Story are quite well detail Media Molecule sure know how to make creative levels in the LittleBigPlanet universe. The only thing you may find annoying in the whole game is that there a lot of long loading times which can take forever for a level to load, this affects both UMD and Downloadable version too.

Fans of the series will also notice that Stephen Fry provides more voicing and helping you out in LittleBigPlanet from its opening video to its first three levels through the beginning of the game. Most of the voicing is all random gibberish from various tools that are used for characters that appear in levels which you can also use in your own levels.

Soundtrack also provides a great touch for LittleBigPlanet lovers and newcomers a like who own a PSP, and be able to use them for making your own levels plus there is more DLC stuff you can download from the store.

Overall: As a fan of the LittleBigPlanet series was amazed how well the game was on the handheld, but however it does not support online multiplayer, but you can create your own levels with the tools and materials have collected through the Story. You can also share and upload your own levels local and online which makes it feel solid and close to the Playstation 3 version on its creativity.

However beating the main story can easily take you around 4-5 hours to finish making it feel really short, but plenty of DLC content to pick up from the Playstation Store but may take a while to download from the PSP, unlike the PS3 version which can take under 5 minutes to download.

Fans of the series will get the most out of LittleBigPlanet for the handheld with a few changes taken in and out of the game.

Summary

I have download the game on the XBOX360 and.......it is very amazing and unique. It reminds me a bit the metroid gameplay style'here you control a spaceship' but it is a very good game for the XBOXLive.
Very good music and brilliant animation and fantastic art style. After playing the game firsthand, it makes perfect sense that the creative force behind Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is an animation artist.
The controls and gameplay are Metroid style exploration and puzzle solving, you even have a scanning device that'll show you an enemies weakness,. Your little alien saucer is nimble and ever changing. You'll find many an upgrade for your armor and various tools as you venture deeper into the Shadow Planet.
Getting to play Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet at is a wonderful surprise.Exploration, puzzle solving, and boss fights. A great adventure....that you don't want to miss.
